Flying Legend TP-150 was designed with the aim of obtaining a basic military trainer with low maintenance costs.
Entirely made in aluminium and with a strong landing gear the airframe is perfect to train new pilots either on grass or asphalt runways. Thanks to the load factor +6/-3Gs the aircatft performs basic aerobatic maneuvers and formation flying being a great advanced trainer.
The 150hp injection engine allows high cealing and reduced consumption for long-range missions.
Ballistic parachute, additional underwing tanks and surveillance system can be added as an optional to the trainer.
The ergonomics of the cockpit allows a good view for the instructor sitting behind and the back seat is also slightly higher than the front one allowing an easy control of the student pilot.
Flying Legend was established in 2010 thanks of two entrepreneurs who decided to invest in a dream: building aluminum aircraft. Aircrafts which should not be anything similar of what was already in the civilian aviation market , but unique for military training use, therefore inspired by the Brazilian military warbird the Tucano-R was born! Just a tiny more little, but with the same impact of the original one! The Tucano R used for civilian market is currently in use in several countries around the world, the experience gained with our customers has led to the development of the definitive version for Military Basic “Training, the TP-150 Trainer and Patrol in the fixed and retractable landing gear versions.
The airframe of the plane allows basic aerobatics manouvers , such as: Spin – Loops – Aileron rolls – Barrel rolls – Cuban 8 – Hammerhead
Aircraft performance are suitable for new pilots and stalls manouvres performed in absolute safe conditions.
The aircraft can be used as border controller, for video surveillance and for cross country flights maintaining an affordable costs and economic service and maintenance.
Flying Legend is wordwilde present with several planes that has enabled us to try the plane in different weather conditions optimizing the machine structure and performance.
In addition to the Italian headquarters, the company has an office in Texas and a new production site in Vietnam

The airplane is entirely built in aluminium 2024T3 and 6061T6, protected with epoxy primer to garantee the protection of the structure and is lifecycle. The aircraft has a maximum take off weight (MTOW) of 750kg (1653lb) and a load factor of +6/-3 Gs or MTOW of 820 kg (1800lb)with a load factor of +4. /-2Gs, with a security factor of 1.5

Both planes can be used for basic acrobatic manouvres and are capable to entry and exit a spin.
This version is higly reccomended as basic trainer and can be supplied with a fixed pitch propeller and basic double instrument panels for first and second pilot including Dynon EFIS, analogical instruments, radio, transponder and ELT, Autopilot (2 axes Servos) and can be equipped with IFR Avionics System.
